Couple has second set of identical babies

This is probably not what they were bargaining for when planning their family...but it's pretty cool, in any case (especially since no fertility drugs were used).

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - Identical twins are rare. Identical triplets even more rare. A Wisconsin couple now has both.

Matthew and Christine Rowe's family just grew by three identical baby boys. The Eau Claire couple had identical twin girls two years ago.

The Rowes say their doctor told them the births are extremely rare, perhaps one in 15 million. No fertility drugs were used.

The mother of five says other than sleep deprivation, the hardest part is telling the boys apart. She says they're keeping tracking of the boys with the help of a marker on their tiny feet.

i read that if you eat yams it increases your chance of having twins.

Fraternal twins yes (2 eggs released & fertilized at the same time). Yams contain a chemical similar to the female hormone progesterone. Ancient Egyptians used this to their advantage and used it in their birth control concoctions.

Identical siblings(split from the same egg) are simply a fluke of nature - happens only by chance, still unexplained by science.
